a bar feed capability of diameters up to 21/2 inches plus
chucking of up to 12-inch diameters by 18-inch lengths, it is

Milling
Arnold understands the importance of producing quality

SD 2093 Wire Serving/Covering Machine
Wire Serving/Covering Machine consists of multiple positions
of double (two covers) serving, with each position
individually controlled from a Computerized Head End. All of
the features listed below reflect standard specification for
each position.
- Two (2) electric spindles with speeds of 3,000 to 20,000
RPM.
- Spindle sensors to monitor temperature and speed for
feedback to CPU.
- Spindle bore of 6mm (.24").
- Red and yellow start/stop trouble indicator
lamps/switches.
- Free standing creel let-off that will accomodate up to
12" diameter x 10" traverse spools. Larger
let-offs are also available at special request. Each creel
position has variable adjustable tensioning.
- Independent take-ups to accomodate up to 12"
diameter x 10" spool. Each position can be separately
programmed for wire size and traverse length for precision
lay of wire. Actual traverse length must be manually set.
- Full enclosure guarding allowing safe access to each
position even when an adjacent position is in operation.
- Voltage 230 VAC, 3 phase.
- Machine is field expandable up to eighty (80) positions
in increments of two and ten positions.
